Hi, thank you for you visiting my portfolio / blog. I am Luke Quinn, a recent Masters graduate in Indie Game Development at the University of Falmouth. I am also currently a volunteer at AfroDuck Studios as a Lead Game Designer. I have been been a game developer for 3 years now. My undergraduate degree was in English Literature with Creative Writing until I decided to finally make the leap into game development! Switching to game development from literature was a big jump but I was confident in my judgement that this was right for me. I had already consumed content about games design, dissected games in their design and toyed around in game development software such as Unity and Blender.

I am passionate about games design and love learning about anything games design related. I enjoy playing and creating various genres of games spanning from RPGs to Simulators to Puzzles to Racing games. Making games is extremely fulfilling to me and I cant imagine not making them.

I also have a love for other arts such as literature, film and art and find that these hobbies often intertwine with games and inspire new and exciting ideas for games.

Some of my favourite games include Little Big Planet 2, What Remains of Edith Finch, Apex Legends, Elder Scrolls Online and Enter the Gungeon. Although, I could list many other games that have left an impression on me; something that I strive to do as a games designer.
